Wallet cards
At the top of many readers’ wish lists is a card that leaves their money under their own keys. Cards ranked here spend from a self-custody wallet and are converted by the provider only at the moment of payment, so an exchange never holds the funds.
Their place in the order reflects cost, the coins and networks usable for loading, eligibility, and the setup of the issuer.
Ranking high does not erase the underlying risk. A lost seed phrase stays lost, and the issuer can freeze the card. Each review shows how the card handles that.
